Is testing done by developer (unit testing) enough for your app?

Other than helping and working together with our clients on releasing a high quality app, we also aim to increase the awareness on Software Testing here in Malaysia.

Often times, when we met out prospect clients we hear this alot “Our developers has done the testing, but there's still a lot of bugs. Is the testing not enough?” Theres alot of respectful answer to that and most of the time, this is where my partner, Faizal, eagerly want to give a crash course on Software Testing 101 :p.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to point fingers because our goal is same, working together on releasing a high quality app! Let the developer do what they do best, which is developing the app while we manage your testing.

For further discussions on this, I suggest that you read the below post by DHH - Creator of Ruby on Rails, Founder & CTO at Basecamp which I believe a developer himself.
