Information Gathering

Personally Identifiable Information that we collect from our visitors through the Website.

In the course of using the Website, visitors may provide us with certain personally identifiable information. This refers to information about visitor’s that can be used to contact or identify them, and information on their use of and activities at the Website that may be connected with them (“Website Personal Information”). Website Personal Information that we collect may include, but is not limited to, a visitor’s name, telephone number, credit card details or other billing information, email address, home and business postal addresses. Website Personal Information may also include information the visitor supply to us concerning their preferences and interests expressed in the course of use of the Website. When a visitor uploads mobile applications (“App(s)”) to the Website, we may also record certain information related thereto, such as user behaviour and application usage. Other recorded information may include the number of times a visitor installs an App, the number of Apps a visitor has access to, the number of times a visitor views an App’s description, and whether a visitor tries to install an App without being authorized to. Apps, IPAs, provisioning profiles and other application sensitive information remain the visitor’s property and shall not be part of the Website Personal Information. We make no claim to ownership of any Apps unless created and uploaded by us. When a Developer includes the Bugs Detective SDK in an App, we receive certain “User Information” that will help the Developer improve the App experience. User Information is comprised of: activities timestamp, App version, User’s device name, device model, language, carrier, architecture, network state (i.e. wifi or cellular data), events, errors and the User’s last action in the App. The User Information also includes a device identifier, such as the handset’s UDID.

How We Use Information

We use personal information (a) to provide programs, services, products and information that you request; (b) to enhance, improve, operate, and maintain our programs, services, products, websites, and other systems; (c) to prevent fraudulent use of our programs, services, products, websites, and other systems; (d) to prevent or take action against activities that are, or may be, in violation of our Terms of Use or applicable law; (e) to tailor advertisements, content, and other aspects of your experience on and in connection with the Site; (f) to maintain a record of our dealings with you; (g) to better understand a visitor’s needs and interests (h) for other administrative purposes; and (i) for any other purposes that we may disclose to you at the point at which we request your personal information, and pursuant to your consent. We may also use personal information you provide to contact you regarding products, services, and offers, both from ourselves and from third parties, that we believe you may find of interest. The information we collect is used to improve the quality of our service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances: It is necessary to share information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law. We transfer information about you if Bugs Detective is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Bugs Detective will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. Corporate affiliates (for example, a subsidiary or parent corporation) and/or the company’s service providers (like fulfilment, hosting, or payment service providers), but only for their use to provide the requested service. Service Providers, Business Partners and Others. We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform Website-related services (including but not limited to data storage, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, payment processing, and improvement of the Website’s features) or to assist us in analyzing how the Website and Services are used. Data Storage

Bugs Detective uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Bugs Detective. Although Bugs Detective owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Bugs Detective application, you retain all rights to your data.

International Visitor

If you use the Site, then you are aware that you may be transferring your personal information outside of your region for storage and processing. By providing your personal information to us through your use of the Site, you agree to that transfer, storage, and processing. Also, we may transfer your data to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Site. You should know that each region can have its own privacy and data security laws, some of which may be less stringent as compared to those of your own region.

Child specific terms

This Website is not directed to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Website Personal Information or User Information from children under 13.
